Services Offered

The library services differ according to the user needs.

Library offer services to Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Academics, Researchers, External users and the entire University Community.

 

Programme offered

Personal Information Management (PIM)

The library offers a compulsory Information literacy programme to all first-entering students.

PIM is a semester programme that helps students to know how to search, locate, assess and use information sources effectively.

Circulation Services

Loan service rules

All library users are requested to comply with the loan service rules.

Only holders of valid CUT ID cards and holders of external user cards may borrow books and other LIS materials.

All the user cards are not transferable.

Fines

Fines will be charged if users don't return material/s in time.

Payments of fines

Fines are paid at Account Department (Lapeng)

Academic results will be withheld if users do not to pay library fines.

No materials will be issued out if there is a fine on the user library account.

Database Training

The Faculty Librarian offers group database training to undergraduates, postgraduates and academics on arrangements from Monday to Friday.

One-on-one training is offered to the Postgraduate Student and/ an Academic on appointment

Research Commons

Library Research Commons

Research commons is situated at the second floor of the library behind Reserve Issue Desk.

Only Masters & Doctoral Students are allowed to use the area.

Students are allowed to bring their laptops for WiFi connection.
